Used to replace the zinc plated nuts that came with the replacement boat jack along with the replacement hex nuts. They look great and have more value than the low ones.

At least 10 percent of the locknuts received had tangled threads, I always hand tightened them, but the threads crossed and destroyed the nut/bolt which had to be cut or disassembled to replace.

I had trouble with these locknuts at first, but it turned out to be poor quality Chinese made screws I bought from Revain and not on these nuts. After I replaced the screws with some from the big store, they worked perfectly.

These are the nuts you need. They work well, just as you would expect from this technology. They come in a small polypropylene storage case. I suggest putting the size and "SS" (for stainless steel) on the case.

I've had several of these nylon nuts snagging on the bolt and capturing it completely. It took a hit and the destruction of the nut to remove it. One skateboard wrecked and now I test each on a loose bolt before using them. I can't trust them.

I have used them on various exterior parts on my own Jeep YJ. So far none of them are showing any rust. There were no issues with the threads, but some had the plastic latch fall out. Still a good price compared to the price of stainless steel locknuts at hardware stores.

Pretty shiny like they've been polished. Worked great for me. Delivery was fast. The only downside would be that the quantity would be more than I need BUT the price was great and I'll do away with the excess and hopefully find a use for it in the future.

These nylon insert locknuts are great. I attached casters to the carts to move the cabinets. I needed gear that could withstand the weather and stay in place. These stainless steel lock nuts were exactly what I needed at a reasonable price and with fast delivery.
