This stand is much better.

My husband had a stroke and wore a rigid brace due to his condition called foot drop. He wore the orthosis as little as possible and if he had to because we were going somewhere, he would get sick after 15 minutes. I looked online and saw a YouTube video about a footrest. Insightful Products helped me over the phone and I ordered braces from Revain. My husband now wears braces almost every day and leaves them on for hours. He is satisfied with this support and the more comfortable walking. So…

Great footrest

I don't know where to start but my wife developed a sagging foot after hip surgery. The prescribed orthopedic bandage worked well, I would say a first grade corset. There was no mobility or flexion of the foot, but it provided stability while improving basic walking skills. Luckily the brace broke and the location of the tear indicated that my wife was bending her leg and arch more than the brace would allow. We tried 3 other types of braces, both cheaper and more expensive, and none worked…

Very versatile AFO, holds up well over time

I love this AFO! I have one for each foot and have been wearing my first ones for over a year with almost no signs of wear. The velcro held up great, as did Jacobs elastomers, two things I thought would go bad quickly. As the information states, it is important to make it easier to wear because, like other orthotics, it needs some adjustment. When I first put it on I found it odd that there was some pressure on the back of my calf and I initially thought it was moving too much but I quickly got

Grandma loved it because of the leg supports

My grandma suffered from a sagging foot after failed hernia surgery and found it very difficult for her to move. This product has greatly improved their quality of life. She immediately liked the feel and comfort of the device and didn't need any time to "get used to it". She's used one of these braces before and didn't like them, so she may have liked them straight away: https://nicershoes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/ foot height. jpg The only reason I give this product 4 stars is the…

This is my favorite solution after 17 years of inactivity!

I had a left and right foot drop due to a spinal injury so I ordered two Step Smart orthoses. In the many years since I developed the condition, I have tried the Foot Up Orthosis, the Swedish Orthosis, soft stabilizing corsets, walking shoes, Bioness and WalkAide devices, and most recently the Ottobock Walk-on Trimable Orthotics. Ottobock braces wore out after two years, but Medicare doesn't replace them for three years, so I looked for a cheaper option. I've had them for about a month now and…

Pros
  • GOLS Certificate
Cons
  • Negative Result

I use this product daily at work as I am on my feet most of the day. I have primary progressive multiple sclerosis and a floppy foot. At first I was a bit skeptical about this product. I did A LOT of research to find a product that would meet my needs as I despise inactivity and other leg braces don't allow your ankle to bend freely when you squat. I think I've watched all of her YouTube videos at least twice. It took a while but after trying combinations of the different tensors included and…
