You get what you pay for

Radar keeps crashing. doesn't hold my tracking radar properly. The mount is also not strong enough to hold the radar permanently. Would I buy this product again? Absolutely not.

Bad design. Will not point in the right direction

This mounting system is very poorly constructed. It won't point in the right direction. The original OEM windshield mount has gears (or teeth) that snap at the pivot to prevent the mount from slipping, causing the (VERY) heavy radar detector to start pointing up at the sky. There are no friction pads or anything to stop the radar from moving when it's pointing in the right direction. There's not even a locknut on the pivot clamp to keep it from dangling. Seems to be a great alternative to the outrageously expensive Blendmount at the moment

After a few years of owning the Escort Max360 my original velcro mount almost stopped working as it lost its adhesive. and within minutes my windshield fell out no matter how hard I tried. I looked for other options and found that the Blendmount, while loved by its owners, is UNFORTUNATELY overpriced. Looking further I came across this one which cost around $13.
