Advantages, excellent wire quality. went well with my application. I will buy more. There really aren't any downsides.

Ok kit, the wire could be thicker. This is not true 4 gauge cable. but for a smaller amp it works fine. It does not come with the split loom that comes with the kits. and RCA could be better. But for a basic subwoofer, it does the job at a good price.

The kit is not bad and on parts with other cheap kits the wire appears to be tin or aluminum and was used on my boat. After 2 weeks on the water the cable rusted and fell from the amplifier onto the center console even in bad weather. If using on a boat make sure you have a copper tension set.

I bought this to install an amp in my truck. The cable is nice and flexible, but as others have said, it's pretty flimsy for 4GA. Ring cable lugs made from several layers of tinfoil, they are also about twice as big as they should be for such a thin wire. I threw them away and chose the right size ring terminals along with heat shrink tubing.

Don't waste your money on this kit, the cables are ok but there were no subwoofer cables in the kit. They should come with everything but not everything in the picture but I didn't bring anything that I need to hook up. You need to find another kit here at Revain Set of amplifier cables

I've used this kit in my last 4 or 5 setups and I love it. Has lots of cables running through the machine and always does a great job with the power draw. One disappointing feature is that these new generation kits (unlike those pictured) do not include speaker wire, but they do come with a much safer and improved fuse. For me it's still worth it because the speaker cable is very cheap. Will continue to be used on future installs!

Pretty good amp kit recommended to me by Sonicelectronics. The wire is definitely not 4/0 gauge, but it's twisted tight with plenty of material. It should work fine for my audio needs. The kit contains everything you need to install the amplifier and subwoofer in the car. It also comes with a speaker cable, but it doesn't mark the caliber. It's either 14 or 16. Overall this is a great kit with one important caveat: the kit that Revain is showing here is not what you will get. The kit Revain is showing is the AK04. This kit is no longer in production and has been replaced by the AK4. There are two main differences: The kit they currently sell does NOT include speaker wire.
