Works great even in color

This PDU arrived on time and works exactly as expected. This was used to power a couple of large inverters in my Suburban for the kids to use on long trips. I painted the block a bit to match the blue power wire and black was used on a similar style block I had on hand to match my ground wire. Unlike many PDUs I've used in the past, the plastic cover on this PDU fits very well!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Almost never

Hard Fir on Stranded Copper

Connects one input and 3 outputs of 12 gauge stranded copper. First of all, the attachment inside the screw contact was not strong enough. I ended up having to cut the insulation off the end of the wire and doubled it for a larger diameter. Then it fits well and holds tight. When tightening, the thread split in half and was easily pulled out. I find that solid copper wiring is perfect for those little set screws.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Much

Look elsewhere for quality. broken and now I'm wasting my time!

This distribution block is complete nonsense. One screw is missing, it looks like the screw holes were filed into a prison gun, the finish is a feeble attempt to hide a defective scratch and damage to an item that should not have passed competent quality control. Don't waste your time buying seconds from the workshop. It's rubbish and negative in every way, to the point where even ordering has become a liability. It literally costs me money and infuriates my customers. Thank you guys! Excellent

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of style

Good product, well finished.

I use 2 of these for my 2000w inverter in my trailer which is powered by 6 huge high capacity 12v batteries to power a 900w microwave, mini fridge and others For electronics to operate and not only they have to take a lot more shock and vibration than the average car, if my power cord falls out because so many big batteries draw so many amps it can start a fire very easily so my connections MUST be that strong as possible and durable. while passing the exam.

Pros
  • Heavy duty high temp base
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Excellent quality

I used 1/0 gauge wires and two connector blocks from 1/0 AWG to 4 AWG to move my battery. The only problem I had was that the wire to the starter was 2 AWG and the sockets for the block were 4 AWG. I didn't want to use an adapter because I wanted it to look clean so I took a block and drilled a hole to measure it. The material was quite soft, so the cut was very easy and clean. If you hadn't pulled the cord, you wouldn't have noticed the difference. The only thing I would quibble about if I had

Pros
  • 4 gauge inlet to (4) 8/10 gauge outlet
Cons
  • Disappear

Exactly What I Need

This PDU is literally what I needed and was looking for. The product looks exactly like the photos in the description and is of equal or better quality than similar products I have used in the past. In addition, it costs a few dollars less than what I paid for similar power supplies here at Revain and well below what I would pay at a local parts store. The top cover of this device snaps securely into place to protect the power supply. protect against accidental contact with the grounded…

  • Slim
