I had to modify it to accept 6 gauge but it works fine especially if you connect the SxS to a 30 series battery . The clamp fits the screw very well.

I needed an extra socket for my solar battery box. While the main outlet is merged, I wanted this addon to have its own merged line. This product was exactly what I needed (although I did replace the 30 amp fuse).

Easy to install and good wire. The fuse box is of poor quality. Wobbles in and out causing an intermittent connection, which is a great way to burn things up. Garbage removed and reordered. The only reason I'm giving this rating is because technically it works if you park the car on the spot and try to use it.

The first fuse holder I ordered worked for a short time and then didn't conduct enough current to power the charger. I found that the side of the battery is not making good contact. I ordered a second one and replaced the first side battery holder with a new one. It's still not making good contact, so I'm replacing the entire unit with a resettable circuit breaker unit.

Installed this to power ham radio and CB radios on my 2005 expedition. Handy design with hex head screws for a secure cable connection, a good ring terminal on the cable that fits right under the battery terminal screw, and the cable is long enough to easily attach the holder to the internal baffle without pulling. I doubt I'd need to buy another one, but I would if I did.
