Big difference Good for faucet mounted filters

This filter immediately changed the taste of my tap water. The water in my house tastes like chlorine, and while I don't drink it, I don't want all of that contamination ending up in my food or yard. I haven't checked the ppm in the water before and after, but I can say it made a significant difference for me.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • There are some downsides

Best water filtration and softening product

This is the second Instapure water filter I've used. The first is under the brand name, which is the same. The first was a budget model. Filters can be used from R2 to R7. It lasted over 10 years. This new R8 model is a very nice upgrade with an automatic filter cut-off function. The water pressure is great. Technically I don't really need it. But it pays to be safe. Loved this product very much. Really really good.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • So so

Great water filter: water filtration and softener

Easy to install, the first filter didn't last long but I took this filter to a small town in Costa Rica where there is a lot of debris in the Water coming out of the taps (at different times, not every day). I know this filter works for scale, if only because other faucets have brown water and the water that goes through this filter is crystal clear and tastes good. I also bought a second filter and it was very easy to replace. This is actually the second one we've bought (I gave the first away

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Doesn't last very long.

Works great, small, relatively cheap, easy to change filters. However, the dashboard bracket always breaks within a few months. The filter attaches to the faucet with a plastic tie and breaks within a few months. After that you can either find a replacement band (I think someone sells parts online) or you have to buy a brand new unit. I've been through 4 of these in the last two years (not filters but whole systems) because they break so easily. If you wash dishes and hit the device with a pan,

Pretty good for filtering and softening water

I've had this thing for about 2 years now. I am very happy with the water it produces and have only replaced the cartridge once. I am giving 4 stars because it has started to show some signs of use in the last 6 months. On rare occasions, a relatively stable drop will flow from the filter section. This can usually be fixed by running a stream of water through it and then turning it off, but sometimes (not often) that doesn't work. My other complaint is that the little switch has been stuck on…

  • Large selection

  • Negative impression

The Most Amazing In-Faucet Water Filter

I am very impressed with this amazing water filter! The installation guide is very clear and the installation was very easy without any tools. The water filter I previously had on my faucet was always leaking and the water from the filter itself was so slow to flow. The WaterPik will not leak as it comes with washers that can be used on a faucet. When the filter is on, the water flows very well. Water bottles can be filled without wasting water because the water flow is smaller than the opening

It works for us at Kitchen & Bath Tools

Love it! I moved to the city from the municipal water supply and now live in the country with well water. My son (2) refused to drink our water because it tasted different than what he was using. Even though I had filters for well water, it wasn't enough for him. I had to buy bottled water for him and the cost was rising fast. Luckily it changed the taste so much that it's ready to drink our water! It still tastes like we're water. just not that much. (If you've lived with well water you know…

Better than other options

Love this: the water tastes great (our unfiltered water has a strong chlorine taste); we have enough filters for 6 months; easy to install and even easier to replace the filter - like a light bulb); The block isn't as bulky over the sink as other models I've tried. It's certified to filter out more bad stuff than any other product. For those who prefer a filter jug, this is a much better choice. You can fill GLASS bottles with filtered tap water and keep them in the fridge. Fresh water is no…
