The cartridges are a bit more difficult to fit into the printer but once installed they work well and cost significantly less than Brother cartridges. About a month has passed since purchase. Judging by the photo, the ink isn't that much gone. I definitely use this since I work from home. I was hesitant for a long time judging by the reviews but it works great! has an error mark above the black ink cartridge, but the print quality is the same as the manufacturer's cartridge. I will definitely save money in the future. I will order a color cartridge soon.

Most importantly, these WORK! I bought them once (color and black) and they were great. I reordered and accidentally bought a different brand counterfeit and none of them worked on my Brother printer. I have reordered this brand and they work great. At such a big saving, the ink is (very, very) slightly inferior to the Brother brand, but who cares? For the price it's worth it.

Thought they would fit my new Brother MFC-J497DW printer. First I needed a black cartridge, everything seemed fine, even with? ink level mark. It costs a little mistake. Now I can't erase my inkjet printers to print black and used all colors to erase. All cartridges from this set are now installed, does everything show up? keywords. NO color printing and I used 1/3 of each cartridge to clean my inkjet nozzles.

Updated 2/12/2019. After researching information on some online forums, I decided to try these universal cartridges again. The advice was to shake them before installing.
