Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

Has some pros: Cold, works stably in overclocking with TurboBoost disabled at a frequency of 4.8 for 4 months now, although I do not advise those who do not understand to raise above 4.5. Cons: Intel i7 . all the shortcomings of previous versions were taken into account and eliminated.

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

Prots finally fire, I advise everyone! The most powerful percent at the moment. I bought it six months ago, when another 13 pieces cost somewhere. Well, as I bought it, my friend drove it, consider it a gift. So since then it has been lying on my shelf, gathering dust, I still can’t buy a motherboard for it, because the socket on my motherboard does not fit. I tried to adjust the size with a file - it did not work out. But it's nice to see that in these half a year the price has already more…

Pros
  • Cool shnyaga
Cons
  • socket

I took this stone in conjunction with the Asus Maximus VII Hero (Z97) Zalman CNPS11X Extreme cooling, the Zalman Z9 U3 case - 28 degrees in idle time, the temperature did not rise above 61 degrees under load. In the future, I plan to scalp and overclock, while there is no point. Its pros: Default frequencies, productive, "cold" - a new thermally conductive pad (TIM), additional capacitors - a stable power supply. Got cons: Price. Since at the moment the dollar has jumped and the price tag has…

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I collect computers to order, for 100+k. and now I have assembled a computer for 180 thousand. I put this pros on it, corsair water cooling without overclocking, the temperature without overclocking is 50 degrees max, but with overclocking, I have a stable 71 degrees at max load. given that I have a cooling system for xeons. contacts well with my video cards. 3 nvidia geforce gtx 980. I have them overclocked too. at 5k resolution my crysis 3 143 fps is stable. multi-monitor system. Well, in…

Pros
  • I have a powerful CPU overclocked to 4.8 GHz
Cons
  • hot

Briefly: I am an architect-designer, I have been working with 3d graphics for many years, I was looking for an acceptable option for prof. activities. re-read a bunch of materials and discussed a lot with colleagues in the shop, he himself with iron on "you" so he assembled the car himself. i7 + 16 GB of high-speed RAM corsair do their job. Very satisfied. He spits out beautiful renders of good resolution in half an hour. 8 virtual cores do their job, and this is without overclocking. In terms

Pros
  • + Well, first of all, Intel, it is also Intel in Africa!) + Excellent combination of price and quality. + Performance and manufacturer. + Maximum power for a given socket. + Ability to overclock. + Build quality + ease of installation.
Cons
  • - Still warm at max load, but this is when rendering the most loaded scenes, but in general this is compensated by a good cooler. In idle 24°C, in games no more than 35°C, when rendering 55°C.

It's not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

It heats up to 100 degrees during testing, in idle time, without overclocking - up to 40, on average - 35-38. Cooler - Noctua NH-C14, ventilated case, large, but still the cooler can not cope if there is a load. Moreover, it is tangible, even next to the body it becomes hot (in winter it can be used as a heater). I don't play games, it's only 3D max, rendering. I'm thinking about whether to take it back, there is a guarantee for the assembly . There are suspicions of poor assembly, thanks for…

Pros
  • Speed
Cons
  • Heats up to 100 and above

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

The processor is simply space! The best of its kind! And one of the best in our time. I bought it for myself and I don’t regret it at all. Friends, take this “miracle”! Do not even doubt it. !Do not spare money.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not the best quality, but generally not bad.

Who even writes that the processor is not hot and can be overclocked? At the beginning, as soon as I installed it, it was very cheerful. High performance pleased, but as soon as I turned on the temperature test, my attitude towards the processor changed. 92 degrees! Under load without overclocking! Yes, you are kidding! Where can it be driven? Why was this released with the K index at all, if it cannot be overclocked? I think this is a mockery of us from Intel. I had to lower the operating…

Pros
  • Productive. After the core2duo e6750, it was as if he had switched to a plane from a bicycle.
Cons
  • Hellfire. Price. The need to purchase a powerful cooling system.

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I had a 6700k system with 3333MHz DDR4 memory, I changed it to this one because I needed money and didn’t lose anything at all, and overclocking to 4.8 GHz gives Haswell the performance of an overclocked 6700k. On old sockets, one of the best processors! Pros below: The processor came out very successful even compared to 4770k, which I also had. But this one runs great! Yes, and from the factory with (good RAM) it gives out 6700k performance (I actually compared this one and that one). In…

Perfect product for any user!

Before 4790k, I used only the “fourth stump” and Core 2 Duo (there was also some more or less powerful AMD, I don’t really remember it, because I think it was given to me), so the effect of the difference in their performance was only “Wow”. I don’t work with overclocking, I don’t set special requirements for hardware. I take what I want and what suits my urgent needs. Therefore, my experience may not be solid, but good impressions have not gone away. Very worthwhile item, I recommend…

Pros
  • I liked everything that was counted. Describing hardware and software advantages is a long and sometimes thankless task. Moreover, in the reviews about them there are already a lot of things.
Cons
  • Price. I took it in 2022 for 24-26k. The price of such a processor at that time was 15-18k. Ceiling. But nothing can be done. Either take it or don't take it. It would be possible to look somewhere for 20k, but did not bother and took it in an online store that has been tested over the years. I won't name it, no one will pay me for advertising.

After 4770k, there were certain hopes for the i7-4790k, but the miracle did not happen. To achieve maximum overclocking results without the use of extreme cooling systems, the processor will still have to be scalped. If we talk about the advantage of the Core i7-4790K over the Core i7-4770K in the operating mode without overclocking, then it is due to a 5-10 percent difference in the nominal frequencies. For advanced users, changing Ivy Bridge or Sandy Bridge to Haswell/Haswell…

Pros
  • Support for vPro / TSX-NI / TXT / VT-d technologies, a significant increase in standard frequencies, improved thermal interface between the crystal and the cover.
Cons
  • Power consumption under load is higher compared to "Haswell" and "Haswell Refresh" processors. Support for motherboards with z87 chipsets (after ating the firmware) and 97 (1000-1500 more expensive for z87s)

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

I bought it as a kit with Msi z97 PC Mate and Zalman CNPS10X Performa cooler. The temperature in idle was 32-33 degrees but in the stress test it showed 63-65 (at a frequency of 4.2 GHz). Which is not good for a guy with a "K" index. It's good that I had Zalman CNPS10X Extreme on my old Q9550, which is 7 years old. Now the indicators are pleasing 27-28 in idle time and 47-50 in the stress test. Overclocked to 4.7 GHz for the sake of interest 31-32 and 63-66, respectively (did not expect…

Pros
  • Power compared to the old Q9550! Regular 4Ghz. Enough for 3-5 years ahead.
Cons
  • The price after the weakening of the. Hot boy.

Good product, not disappointed.

Motherboard MSI Z97-G43 I think that the frequency of 4900 MHz is its architectural limit, well, or thereabouts. at such a frequency, it worked stably for me at a voltage of 1.485v, and already at values of 1.510v + the system did not start. I remember choosing between 4790k for 12 thousand and 5820 for 14 thousand, 5820 seemed expensive to me)) I remember these times with a smile) I’m looking at the price tag of 6700k right now and I understand that I will spend more than one year with…

Pros
  • Productive Enough for a long time Quick Sync allows you to capture the screen and stream without the load on the video card and percent in 1080p60
Cons
  • HOT as HELL! up to 96 degrees in the installation, managed to overclock it to 4900 only thanks to Thermaltake Water 3.0 Ultimate, and all because of the moronic thermal interface under the lid, which makes cooling extremely inefficient.

I don’t know what you have with overheating, I have never had such a problem, the temperature at idle is 38-42, at 100% load on the test it increased to 47 and did not rise again in the summer! There is an ordinary coachman, not a water one! Just when you buy a percent for 20-30k, respectively, the cooler should not be taken for 100, and think through the cooling in the system unit, who is yelling that it is heating up, they simply do not know how to assemble systems. I didn’t overclock…

Pros
  • Performance, temperature, stability, overclocking.
Cons
  • No

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

I bought 4790k, the stone is good, but the temperature is not happy, especially in stress tests, if you drive it, you need to scalp, otherwise you will go over 100 degrees in stress tests, because for some reason Intel does not make solder, but puts chewing gum there, after replacing the chewing gum with press -20 degrees, at the moment in overclocking to 4.7 with vcore 1.35, linx runs the hottest core in games 59 degrees noctua nh-d14 cooler. I advise you to buy. Acceleration=Scalp.

Pros
  • Speed, acceleration.
Cons
  • Temperature

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

Bought a week ago along with ASUS Z97-K and Noctua NH-D14. Before ating the BIOS, the motherboard warmed up to 90 degrees (the mother automatically set the frequency to 4.4. GHz) and rebooted after 6-8 hours of operation under 100% load (see handbrake). After ating the BIOS, the frequency became lower (4.2 GHz) and the temperature under load (the same handbrake) dropped to an acceptable 70 degrees. Since then it has been working steadily.

Pros
  • Cold, fast and stable stone
Cons
  • Requires a BIOS ate on the motherboard.

I am completely satisfied, item complies with description.

if you use a computer just for fun, then it makes no sense to overpay for i7, take i5 safely, you won’t notice a normal difference. Well, of course, if there is a lot of money, then you can overpay for HT. and the price for a month has literally grown unmeasured on it, which is already disgusting. nothing good can be expected from our 2022. especially from the one who rules it, everything is done against the people.

Pros
  • speed is good. for a couple of years, maybe even five years. nothing slows down. 4k video plays perfectly. 8k check failed in the net did not find a single video.
Cons
  • heats up a lot. with a boxed cooler, it heated up to 102 degrees in games ! when watching a video 65-70 degrees. never had less than 55. I had to change the cooler to Zalman Performance now when watching a video 40. (If 4k then 50 guaranteed or even 60) in games 70 on average. Well, more than 75 did not rise even once now. which is essentially a bit much, of course, but you can already live. when compared with amd, it's generally excellent). so even if you take the side version, then immediately change the cooler + radiator and for a more powerful one ! and everything else is fine.

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I bought an i5-4570 processor, got a good job in conjunction with the gtx 1070. The cooler master s400 cooler copes with the i7 well. -snot" under the heat distribution cover is very bad and the 7th generation heats up more and the ate is not cost-effective because the i7-4790k performance is enough in all tasks. I recommend this processor for purchase.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well done, but I won't buy any more.

Bought at the beginning of December 2022. Made a system upgrade after an old i5-750 (2.66 GHz) I took my mother Gigabyte Z97X-SLI, bought a second GTX 670 - plugged it into SLI (which is an order of magnitude cheaper than upgrading a video card). Power supply 750 W. coped with a bang. I deliberately overpaid and took it with the K index, hoping for normal overclocking (with the Icehammer IH-4500 cooler). But that was not the case. Without overheating and leaving the system in reboot, I…

Pros
  • Performance, 8 virtual cores. Now I can easily watch a movie with a high bitrate, download torrents, let my wife join Odnoklassniki and at the same time put a heavy toy))
Cons
  • Price. Hot, it is normal not to overclock with raising the voltage.
