Worked as expected for timer

Does the job I thought it would be a direct connection to the light but when I went to install it found the lighting system was on a contactor. There was no need to buy such power. However, it still worked. Used to light up the condo parking lot.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Functionality

Works, sensitivity concerns

Fixed my old broken sensor. It's in a corner at the front of my west-facing house, so my headlights don't go out until after an hour or two of daylight. Even when it's cloudy, they don't turn off. I wish it had a sensitivity adjustment.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some little things

Doesn't work well even in daylight

I had three of these, ordered two from Revain. You should work from morning to night. They rarely work in broad daylight. Even now at 10am with a sunny sky this sensor has not turned off the light it is attached to. The latter worked much better when I got it a month ago and now it's barely working. Be careful with them - the quality isn't there

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

Mine failed and gradually lost sensitivity to sunlight, causing the electric current to stay on for too long. In other words, it stopped turning off the outside lights except in bright sunshine, and my light stayed on until 9 or 10am, even on a clear summer day. I think that's pretty typical of photo controls in general and it's a better way to get

Very good photo switch

I use this product from the 220V network. For me it drives a 6x50W LED spotlight or a total of 300W. The installation instructions are very clear and I have no problem installing it myself, although an electrician will help me because I don't like climbing ladders. Immediately after installing it in the daytime, I tested and noted the following points. The switch is very light sensitive because when I covered it with my palm it didn't turn on the light as expected. After making sure all my…
