These pliers get into hard-to-reach places. Mirrors and good lighting can help. Look carefully before using the tool as you may not be able to see the locking ring when the pliers are in place.

I used it to remove the snap ring from my TVS jackshaft to replace the bearing. It took me long jaws to reach the back of the body. You are strong enough to match me. They are ideal for light use.

Ideal for replacing the AC coil in the car! Perfect size and good grip on the handles, the tips felt a bit loose on the ring I had but it held up really well. The long nose was very useful!

I bought 3 of these circlip pliers for my work. The order arrived in a thick paper envelope that looked very "worn". Two out of three were fine. The third had a pin broken in transit. Reva did the replacement quickly. Received a replacement today although it came in the same thick paper envelope and I had my fingers crossed hoping it wasn't broken. Everything was good.

This set of circlip pliers worked great on a set of rear calipers. I actually removed the snap ring with two long picks and a vice and then found that it was necessary for reassembly. About 2 months later I tried to use them again on a set of rear Honda calipers and one of the teeth broke. For $20 I expected to get more than one use from them. I would not recommend them.

I bought these to replace the Honda circlip pliers 07914-SA50001 to overhaul master cylinders. I've only taken out and reinserted a few locking rings a few times. It has worked great for my limited use of this tool. the handles were solid, the nose of the pliers fitted the locking rings and held them in place without slipping. Finally found what I needed. I am restoring a vintage motorcycle and I needed them for two reasons. Firstly: remove the circlips in the front master brake cylinder and secondly: remove the circlips in the membrane housing for the needle jet in the carburetors. Worked great. Strong enough to get down a deep hole and tough enough to pry a snap ring out of a rusty 41 year old bike. Perfect!
