Holes in the seam of the float

There were holes in the seam of the float which will probably be difficult to patch, this was out of the box, apparently poorly done.

Should the air hold?

Busted, used once. the next time (after a few days) they were blown away. Scrap metal! Bought as a gift, took a long time to return.
