Exactly what you need!

Used when rafting with friends. We had an island of pipes with a dinghy in the center for the radiator and a set of oars for 'steering'. My youngest friend, who was with him, mostly steered the oars and could get the whole island out of trouble spots with just one. Sometimes we had to use both, but mostly just them. Is that the point? They work great. :) Lightweight but durable and easy to store.

light and high quality

They are very light and strong. The paddles are really strong when assembled and there is no feeling that they could accidentally fall apart during use. We use them when going down the river with only the first part of the shaft installed so they are shorter and there is an oar for each person). I drilled holes in them to add a long paracord strap to each, which we attached to our hoses to keep the paddle from losing in a fall. They are perfect for our purposes and I will definitely buy more if

Get camera paddles when going to the lake etc.

I bought 2 Intex cameras for marine use. I almost didn't buy paddles until I saw in another review that they are actually useful. I bought 2 single cameras which we connected as close together as possible. Each of us takes an oar and in a few minutes we have reached the middle of the lake. They are great, we have used them full length and also tried using a piece of rod to make them shorter. Both ways worked great and the price is unbeatable. We had a great time walking around the lake in our…

Overall good design but the paddles are underpowered

These paddles are difficult to rate as some of them deserve 4-5 stars and others only 1-2 stars. Processing and assembly are very good. They stick together and the pillars are strong. We even took it apart and made it into a kayak paddle (albeit a short one - it would be cool if they added an extra connector section to make a standard length kayak paddle). However, the yellow part of the paddle is fragile and will bend even if used by a child. Even with a fairly light tap, the tips of the…

Perfect for occasional use.

I ordered a very large 6 person raft which according to customer reviews was very clear if there wasn't something that could help you manage. So. Amazon offered them as an "add-on". I am absolutely certain that they are worth the additional price of $5 or $4.70 regardless of what I paid for them. Are they plastic? Yes. Will they survive on the lake? more likely. Would you like them to overcome rapids? Em no. Negative reviews are always interesting to read and I wonder what is expected of this…
