I wish I could say more. 2 ordered, both received damaged. The socket on both devices was bent unusable and could not be screwed tight.

I bought this to replace a bare 60 watt light bulb in my attic. It gives off a lot of light and is unlikely to shatter like a mere incandescent bulb. The installation consisted of unscrewing the bare bulb and replacing it with an LED. I am very happy with the extra amount of light this room now has.

When CFLs became a trend, I wanted brighter lighting and lower power consumption. However, the lighting gradually dims. Some die after 2 years, others live longer, around 10 years. I bought the advertised triple blade LED bulb but not the advertised model. It was this one. This price was lower. I bought two on two different purchases. I love a well-lit place, especially where there is a lot of reading and writing.

I bought this because the diffuser (white plastic cover) makes it less glaring than most. Used as a room lamp in the basement. It seemed to me that many of them looked too utilitarian. This one looks beautiful. It came off easily and it's a fair bit brighter than what was there. This is cool white light. It is noticeably cooler than neighboring warm bulb LEDs. If I wanted to boost this light I would give it a warm color setting. But the light is great for the price.

I use two of these lights in a chain in my garage as a temporary, inexpensive but very effective way of lighting. The rest of the lights in the string are 9W 6000K LEDs from Home Depot. They're *slightly* bluer and a lot brighter. I like the fact that they have a much larger surface area than the standard Edison bulb shape - the light is distributed more evenly where it's needed most (under the light source) and the body heats up less despite the higher power consumption (maybe also more also…

Installed 2 of these and one in the main ceramic lamp on the garage ceiling. Wow beautiful and bright! It took a while before I got around to installing a second one, same garage, same lighting scheme. But with both bulbs installed, the light now comes on full for a second and then dims to a much less useful level. Eh, I'm only giving 3 stars because the "wings" don't fold at all like most other styles make this easy. they only emerge horizontally and can therefore only shine vertically downwards. While they fold "inward" I really see no point or why anyone would ever fold them inward. but that's just me However, it is significantly brighter than a single bulb in the garage ceiling.
