Simply Amazing - KVM Switches

After reading the reviews I was very nervous, so I prepared in advance to replace the switch that I'm talking about Everyone complained, I was also afraid that the switches wouldn't work. Works well on OSX/Win10 Well although I'm a fan of the mechanical switch I found the switch workable and decided to go with it for now, someday I'll move one of the LEDs to the switch and plug it There's a mechanical switch, Cherry MX, so i can also differentiate but not now as the switch was 100% permanent…

Works fine except for one problem.

Ever since I've been using this KVM, random keys on my keyboard get stuck when typing. Otherwise it works fine. Update: According to IO Gear support, these devices only work properly with a basic keyboard and mouse. That means you can expect problems if you have something fancier than a standard 104-key keyboard and a standard 3-button mouse.

Works best in Computers & Accessories category

I use it to switch peripherals between desktop and MacBook Pro. Works like a champ. The switch knob has a nice long cord (6ft) so I was able to clip it under my desk. Now I feel like a gangster with a shotgun under the table waiting for some shenanigans. But instead of shooting people, I switch to another computer with a mouse and keyboard. Nice BA.

EDIT - FIXED! - "GUS4C2 " - I want to disable automatic detection.

****EDIT - FIRMWARE FIX**** I was able to solve my sleep problem by updating the firmware with aten US3342 firmware. This device is identical to this one (I assume it's a rebrand?) and there is a firmware update that fixes this particular issue. Once I applied the firmware, I can easily switch between inputs EVEN WHEN THE OTHER PC IS SLEEPING. I'm keeping the 4 star rating because I still had to make an effort to discover this. Too bad IOGear doesn't have its own firmware to solve this problem.
