I am using this HDMI wireless kit to connect my Xbox One to a 27 inch game console. Monitor (about 5 feet). Setup was easy (basically plug and play). When gaming, the resolution is fine and I don't have any lag issues. The only thing I've learned is to always unplug the transmitter and receiver from the power source after I'm done. If I don't do this, the next time I turn on my Xbox, the kit will not work properly. I will experience severe pixelation and lag.

The only problem I've ever had was interference from the Alto Stealth wireless speaker system. The stealth interference to both IOgear and my GTD Audio wireless microphones.
