turntable works great. iTunes music download software is not that good. The gain control can only be adjusted before recording. So if it's too high or too low, you'll have to stop recording and start over. A gain control that can be adjusted while recording is badly needed. Download the required vinyl and tape converter. My iPad 3rd generation was unusable because it could not be updated to a version higher than 4.1. When I decided to try a USB connection and export the recording to iTunes on my computer, there was another problem with the software. This is a beautiful player. Plays well, but you have to be careful to set the counterweight correctly. The main problem is related to the ez Vinyl app for Ipad.
