Exceptional customer service

The tip of the corkscrew I received was not sharp enough to easily pierce a cork. The company sent me a replacement and it works great. You turned a disappointing experience into a very good one.

Does the job Kitchen utensils and appliances

Does the job and is fairly easy to use. It's not easy, but not difficult to use. However, the cork is extremely difficult to insert far enough to be useful. I couldn't use it and only one in four people could make it stay in the bottle.

Buy this! fits bar and wine tools

This is the best manual cork remover I have ever used and over the years I've broken more than I can remember. This one is strong. I've used one for years (not the first) and the one I bought as a spare broke after a month. I've been using this puller for a few months now and I'm happy to say it's the best manual plug puller I've ever had and it has a very smooth gear action.

Short corkscrew but good quality AF

I used to have a corkscrew that was very similar in design but without the plastic. Probably the standard cheap all-metal that everyone seems to have in their drawer. However, it has a level of strength and thickness that will keep you from getting hurt by those doggedly trying to pull the plugs. With my cheap metal my hand sometimes cuts the teeth on the levers when I try to pull and insert the entire assembly, but it doesn't happen at all with this one. I love this wine cork opener!

I can't understand why anyone would give this product more than 1 star

Thing is certainly strong enough but when you put the corkscrew in the wine it just keeps spinning and doesn't work. My husband has to use all his strength (and he's a strong guy) to put at least a dent in it and eventually it works, but it's a terrible product. Once it hits the cork, it rips open and into your wine. nope Please don't waste your money.

Good quality chunky corkscrew AF

Mangles Corks: Kitchen & Dining

This is a machined chrome screw, not coiled wire. It has a large central shaft and ridge-like teeth. It breaks in the cork is not very elegant. The second photo shows a comparison between our vintage bunny style corkscrew and Ipow. You can barely see where the coiled wire enters the cork, but you can clearly see the breaks in the Ipow cork. We have had different types of corkscrews over the years and never one that has done this with corks. The Ipow tops are good and seem solid but due to their
