We have bought several of these and would definitely recommend them. We have made several barn door sets and use them in every set we make. Everyone loves her too. We also once made a chest out of cedar and used it. Added a big accent to both.

I love the latch and it looks really cool on my bi-folding barn door. I was surprised my latch didn't come with screws. I wanted to complete the project so I could find the correct ones at my local store but I think the screws should have been included so only 4 stars.

I made a dog guard with a stained wooden frame and faux metal inserts from wooden dowels and black painted plastic parts. I only needed one bar and this was the closest thing to what I was looking for. It's just a little more than I expected, but it's good.

Works well. Very difficult. Most likely made for a solid outside gate. We attached them to our French doors to slow down the little ones. The 4 inch length is great as the fasteners are far enough from the edge of the door to not split the wood or cause other placement issues.
