Type worked I think

I used this to prevent coolant from getting into pitted cylinder liners. It didn't work that well, the first 5 hours met the manufacturer's recommendations: 1 bottle treats 6 gallons. I used 3 gallons so I used half a bottle. It didn't work so I used the rest of the bottle and worked 5 hours. a slight improvement but I think the block needs a complete overhaul.

Didn't work for me - Car Care

Nothing worked for me. I am an ASE certified mechanic. A customer walked in with a small coolant leak in the water pump of a 2000 Chevy Cavalier. After finding out that his correct solution would cost $750, he wanted to try one of the stop leaks. He saw it on the TV show Truck U and wanted to try it. Follow the directions and I don't think it helped stop the leak. It's a real shame because I think he just threw the car away because it's not worth such a serious and expensive repair. It wasโ€ฆ

A very short term temporary solution for even minor leaks.

I used this on a small radiator leak on my '68 Ford F250 and it worked straight away stopping the leak. I tried this on a leak around the water pump on my '02 Passat and it didn't work at all. Apparently this is a good fix for a radiator leak, but it's no mechanic in a jar for a water pump leak. Update: When I started the truck the second time after the treatment had stopped the radiator from leaking, the leak started again in the same place. It was also a small leak. So it turns out to be aโ€ฆ

Good material for the radiator

This material really works. I am generally very skeptical about dietary supplements. So when I heard about this product I really wasn't expecting the results I was getting. prove me wrong and it happened. I had a small antifreeze leak that I couldn't even find the source of on my 2002 Taurus. I replaced the water pump about 6 months ago and this little leak kept popping up on the floor. the garage. I washed the engine and still with mirrors etc. I couldn't find the source. I was told about this

Liquid sprayed out of the cooling system as it cooled. Needless to say

I ordered this on recommendation. 06 Jeep, over 200 miles, no radiator change due to worn seals. I bought this material and entered it into my system. For the first 24 hours, the cooling system spilled liquid as it cooled. Needless to say, no hope!. Went to work with a large supply of coolant. 4 weeks, no leaks. I had no problems with the cooling system leaking. I have used other products without the same results. I can say the whole 3 step process applies to my other running cars except forโ€ฆ
