Works like a champ!

Easy to install (10 minutes) on a 2004 TL and it worked like a champ. Just like someone else mentioned in their review, the connectors are reversed from the original but still work fine, just a little tight when the battery clamp cable is connected. I recommend removing the metal battery tray for easier starter removal and to save an hour of installation and removal.

The starter itself is easy to install. 2 screws and some wires. Getting there was the hardest part on my 2004 Honda Odyssey. The battery compartment needs to be removed and one screw is very tight. You'll also need an extension for your ratchet wrench, about 5 inches for the bottom starter screw. Without the battery compartment and the fact that the screws were so old and rusty, it would have taken 20 minutes. Instead, it took me several hours to figure out how to remove the last battery…

The starter motor looks great! It was pretty easy to install on my 2006 Odyssey. The position of one of the solenoid pins was slightly different than on my van, but it still stuck well. Everything connected and ready to go! The price was literally a third of what the local parts dealers were willing to charge me for a rebuilt model, not to mention you wouldn't have to bother going back there again to get a basic refund. I've been wearing it for about a month now, no problems. The original…

He works on a 2005 Honda Odyssey.

Common problem on Honda Accord and Odyssey. Before I removed the old block I checked the circuit to make sure the starter was bad. Then I removed the old starter to make sure it was bad. I also tested the new launcher before installing it to make sure it worked well. It looks like it's the solenoid, not the starter, but since the replacement starter came as a unit and the motor is also dated it might be a good idea to just swap them both out. I then installed and tested the new starter before…
