Description of Irwin Tools 1837375 Performance Phillips: Unleashing Optimum Performance

These insert bits are built for maximum durability and long life with impact drivers. Each insert bit is manufactured with heavy-duty, cold-forged, high-grade steel. The screwdriver bits can withstand high-torque output. Precision-tip geometry on the insert bits delivers superior fitment with reduced stripping and cam-out. A black oxide finish resists corrosion to help increase the life of each insert bit.

Barely Adequate Phillips Bit; Save Your Money

This industrial and scientific drill bit is not worth the price. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say that this product has a mediocre performance. While it may work for lightweight jobs, it does not withstand heavy-duty use. The only pro is that it fits in a standard drill chuck. Save your money and invest in a higher quality product. The con is the poor performance.

Pros
  • High performance and durability makes it a reliable choice for demanding jobs.
Cons
  • The price point may be too high for some consumers on a tight budget.

Good quality, suitable for power tool spares and accessories

There aren't many good P01 bits out there but this one is an exception at a great price. The Makita Gold Bits are also very good.

Pros
  • Each insert bit is high strength, cold forged quality steel
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

Good tips, I've used the same for several.

Good bits, I've been using the same for a few days, it fits the small #1 Phillips very well and hasn't started to round or loosen screws. I really wish manufacturers would stop using such tiny sized screw heads for most things (especially the soft screws they all use!). But if you see a lot of Phillips #1 screws, that's decent advice.

Pros
  • Screwdriver bits can handle high torque
Cons
  • Have doubts
