I bought this set to be Mrs. Fix-It's helper in my house and I am happy with it. The beats work well. Bits are durable and easy to clean. Even the body is strong. The price is very reasonable.

I don't know whose fault it is, maybe mine, but I need a set of hex bits. I was looking for hex shank bit sets and found these. I assumed the bits were hex shank. They don't, and upon rechecking, the description doesn't mention hex shanks. Why this set shows up when it so obviously doesn't match the search criteria is beyond me. Sending it back is more inconvenient than helpful. The set will probably become a stocking for some lucky people at Christmas.

Okay, now I'll write about the 1/16 bit from this set. This set includes 2 1/16 size drill bits. One of them won't drill metal and the other drills metal well but no better. I think this is because small drill bits are not of consistent quality. I also have a set of Black & Decker 15-110 general purpose HSS drill bits, 10pc. Black & Decker drills have a very sharp angle and drill through metal 2x faster than Irwin. Black & Decker Metal certainly isn't as heavy as Irwin, but the price tag is a…
