Tungsten carbide tip is durable when drilling in concrete and brick. Deep single flute removes dust fast for increased drilling speed and longer bit life. Diamond ground tip has aggressive cutting angles for increased drilling speed. Fits all hammer drills with 3-jaw or Jacobs chuck.
As a result of my tests, I determined that this spiral masonry bit is an efficient and long-lasting tool to have in your toolbox... The angled tip easily penetrates hard surfaces and the spiral design allows for quick removal of debris. However it may not be the best option for working with delicate materials as it can cause considerable damage. Overall, this bit is an excellent choice for any masonry project..
Pros
Long-lasting and durable
Cons
Has a tendency to dull quickly when used on harder materials like concrete
Used a hammer drill with this bit to drill holes in concrete and wasn't overly impressed. I had to drill for a very long time and made VERY slow progress. I ended up not having full holes but shallow partial holes that only went 1 or 2 inches into the concrete. I would not recommend this drill press.
