I can't tell what happened to one of our GPS's that didn't stay on the mount. It turned out that our old one had a hairline crack. This completely replaced the original and now the GPS stays on the mount as intended. Great replacement. Good salesman.

We've been using the Garmin on the go for years and just bought it as a "just in case" replacement for our device Because Plastic can become somewhat brittle over time. Like the original, it fits both our Garmin and our sandbag holder. It mounts to the back of the Garmin and snaps onto the ball on the stand, eliminating the need for suction for our specialty items.

This is a counterfeit, not a Garmin product. The ball's fit is very tight, but when the ball enters, the metal ring comes out. It doesn't come out fully, only sticking out when the ball is inside. The disc does not fit well in the back of the GPS. It was difficult to get him to come in and stay inside. It slides back easily. Pay a few bucks more for an OEM part, not this one.

I have several Garmin mounts. To make things easier I needed a second cradle attachment. It was too thick for my Garmin. But don't call it a layoff just yet. I used a piece of 400 grit sandpaper and voila, nice tight fit. It is much cheaper than other mounts. Ignore the sandpaper scratches on it as you don't have to look at it while it hides on the back of your GPS.

Easy to install but didn't meet my expectations. I couldn't put my GPS in the suction cup. I was afraid that if I forced it I would break it. My husband couldn't easily either, so he gave me his bassinet and took the one I ordered as he doesn't use it very often. This mount must match another manufacturer's suction cup windshield mount as it will not fit. Sorry but I had to send it back.

I had to do my best to place the piece on the back of the harmine and it should stay there as I'm pretty sure something will break if I try to take it off . The part that goes over the ball is also too small and I had to push it with all my might. I think it will eventually break if I keep deleting it. When I received the mount base, I found that the base was too small for both the Garmin suction cup mount and the 3rd party vent mount balls. I have unsuccessfully attached the holders to the mount using excessive pressure. For work I had to grind the balls smaller so the balls would fit in the nest. I have 3 cars and want to keep the suction cup and mount in each car, I just want to be able to move my Garmin without removing the suction cup and mount from the car.
