Surface technology: Anti-oxidation by electroplating (nickel plating). Rail Guide Material: bearing steel. Rail Guide Length: 400mm. Block: MGN12H ball bearing carriage. Block material: Stainless Steel. Blocks are pre-loaded. Suggested to use M3 T nut and screws if you fix it to 20 series EU Al-profile. There are two rubber stoppers on each side of the linear rail, it can prevent the carriage block from falling out.

$$ worth if you prepare them properly

I took my main 3D printer apart to replace the guides. These aren't the cheapest rails, but they're certainly economical. They are very rough and filled with shipping grease from the factory. At first I thought they were useless. First spray the entire rail and block assembly with Brake Cleaner. This will remove most of the dirt. Then remove one of the red locking knobs, turn the rail over and carefully remove the carriage assembly with a towel or heavy rag. Then I would spray the bearings and…

Small details create great performance!

These rails work right out of the box. Unlike many of Hiwin's cheaper replicas, these were well lubricated and glided smoothly rather than being coated in shipping wax and grinding. That being said, I still followed my standard practice of taking the rails apart, cleaning them with isopropyl alcohol, and re-lubricating them. with Slick50 Supercharged One Lube and MAN everything is smooth now! With $8 and some time investment they can be pretty good splints

Ordered 2 for my 3D printer. one hardly moved, even in an upright position. the other moved and got stuck in the middle, then moved again when shaken. I was less than thrilled. The consensus on the internet was "you get what you pay for" and "cheap Chinese splints will never work". However, I didn't want to just give up and return them without trying to fix them.
