I was hoping this would be a miracle product for my hair. I spent a little more than some other competing products. My hair is thick, coarse, wavy, and falls below my shoulders. It would take me years to make up my mind. I feel like the flat iron doesn't grip my hair well enough and can't handle large strands of hair. I really wanted something special. This curling iron is AMAZING! One of the best I've used. It's easy to work with and gives me the look I've always wanted: simple and cute waves. I definitely recommend this for people who are in pain curling their hair as it requires minimal effort. It took me a minute to figure out how to use it, but once I figured it out, I was able to curl my hair quickly and effectively. Love this curling iron. I have a lot of thick/coarse hair and this curler can style my hair in about 15 minutes. It's very easy to use. Not sure how well it works on short hair as this curler works. I had old hair rollers and even when I set the lowest temperature they still damage my hair. This one doesn't, it leaves my hair healthy even if I have bleached hair. This curler is worth every penny and more. I get compliments every time I curl my hair with this curling iron.
