Design is very suitable for mixing food. It's a unique design compared to other pushers, but I find it works better than some of the others I've tried. It's really durable, has a comfortable grip and is easy to clean. Highly recommended.

Every masher needs a certain amount of lubrication, and this one won't bend or break under pressure. I tried one with small holes which was a disaster and left hole sized chunks. You need big holes to break through boiled or steamed potatoes, and a sharper edge is a must if you leave the skin on like I prefer for rustic mashed potatoes. When making mashed potatoes, I probably used a couple of mashed potatoes that eventually broke, some plastic, some metal. This is the first one that makes me believe it will go the distance!
