Lousy product, low quality.

In general, apart from a beautiful picture, this docking station has zero advantages. It all starts with opening the cover with a wire, you need to make a lot of effort and it opens with a slight bending of the case itself. Otherwise, it seems that now it will simply bend (it is metal, oddly enough). Further, you can simply describe the installation of the driver on a macBook with the BigSur operating system, it is with this OS that j5 has, as I understood from the description at the officeโ€ฆ

  • This model has no advantages.
Cons
  • Doesn't work well with a 4k monitor on a macbook, especially on the M1 and most likely will on Intel as well. More details in the description of this review. If you are a regular user of apple products, installing a driver for this good can be difficult.

Great value in the Computers & Accessories category

Pleasantly surprised at how well this works. A Mac laptop requires some software to be installed, but it works fine on a Windows 10 laptop. I like that it sits under the laptop, not like my old Startech which just sits on the side and gets in the way.

Lasted only a short time.: Notebook accessory

This docking station was disappointing, I wanted to like it but it kept having connection problems. After a month it stopped working completely. The support team wasn't very helpful, they just referred you to a website and said you were out of luck.

Exactly what I was looking for.

Worked exactly how I needed it. central hub for all my attachments and providers, dual screen for my home office. Plug and play works flawlessly when we need to switch between my work laptop and my son's school laptop.

I'm not sure if this is due to a compactness issue or a distinctive product. When used on a high-end HP laptop, the connected GVA cable and monitors connected via HDMI could not be displayed together. The VGA and USB connections only worked for the first few hours on the first day and then stopped working.

Great little dock but can't get more than one external display working.

Does the job but I can't use Dual Screen on a Mac. I have a laptop display and a second monitor. Connecting two external monitors was unsuccessful.
