Great for Zoom conferencing

I like this headset for both teletherapy sessions and consultations. I bought the 'like new' version at a great price and it's exactly what I was hoping for. This is my fourth attempt at a good headset so I'm glad I finally found one that lives up to expectations.

Pros
  • Pretty to look at
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

This instructor rated it A+

If one or more people use Zoom at school or similar video communication app/software, we strongly recommend using a Jabra headset instead of a computer microphone/speaker use. If your computer is one of the latest and greatest, maybe you can skip them? But honestly, the sound quality and ease of use give this product an A!

Microphone stopped working on two headsets

I bought this product to use for business calling/video conferencing with Microsoft Teams. The first headset worked for two months before the microphone stopped working. Jabra replaced it under warranty. The second headset only lasted about a week before the microphone in it stopped working. This is very disappointing, I have had several Jabra products in the past and have always been happy with them. I am not sure I will ever buy from them again.

Great noise canceling microphone

I've been using it for all my online work meetings for about a month now. The noise-cancelling microphone is excellent and allows me to share my workspace with other family members. My baby was literally behind me making some loud funny voices but the people I met could barely hear him. They said you can barely hear it when I arrive when it's crystal clear and loud. I just find the size of the headset a bit small. The extension cord doesn't reach too far (compared to my music headphones).

Not worth the price

I was very disappointed with the sound quality considering how expensive they are compared to others. I have several headsets but not for conference calls so I bought them. I used Audacity to record my voice at the specified mic frequency for real sound and it was worse than my gaming headset, which is also terrible. The highs have too much bite so people on the other side keep telling me to move the mic away from my mouth and when I do that they complain that they can't hear me. I sent them…

Better Sound Quality than Jabra Evolve 75 Bluetooth

We use several Jabra Evolve 75 Bluetooth headphones in our offices (both with BT desktops and mobile phones) so I expected good sound quality but I was surprised how that Jabra Evolve 2 40 sounds much better than the 75. The difference is probably the lack of BT compression, but even with that, the sound quality is surprisingly better than the more expensive 75s. If you need BT, you need BT. However, if your app supports a wired headset (computer telephony or USB-C cellphone), 40 outperforms…

Getting used to

This headset took a little getting used to as my other headset had the microphone on the left side. One day I put the headset on the wrong side and figured there wouldn't be a deal, I'd just turn the mic the other way. Well, that's not how it works. The microphone is strictly on the right. My other headset also had volume and mute controls on the cord itself, but that's why I needed a new headset. The controls seemed stuck and no amount of troubleshooting steps could fix it. With this headset…

  • Makes me nervous

The best headset I've ever had!

Used by many. I use my phone a lot at work and in different environments, so I struggled to find a headset with good noise cancellation, good sound and ease of use. This headset fits the bill. I have a grumpy bird that literally yells at me if I don't answer it. He enjoys a good reputation among all my colleagues. People are asking if they need to arrange a health check for my bird because he hasn't been heard on zoom or skype since buying this headset! I have hearing problems and they work…
