Jack Dave Cutting Consumables Standard Review

The primary cost of running an inexpensive plasma torch is the cost of replacing consumables. If they're expensive, then a "bargain" plasma cutter wasn't such a good deal. A large number of Jack & Dave consumables, sold at a low price, will not turn your initial business into a white elephant. worth your money.

Product works as advertised. Nothing to fault. They appear to be made in China and the quality doesn't match the big commercial welder/cutters manufacturers like ESAB and Miller, but the parts fit, the torch cuts and the price are right. Equivalent to port freight compared to snap-on. As a DIY/DIY consumable, this is the product to go for.

Bought this Reboot 45 plasma cutter. They are similar in style to the original parts but are smaller. Each piece is slightly smaller and doesn't protrude as far from the acrylic body. Haven't tried cutting with them yet, but I expect the cutting tip protrudes about 1/4 inch less, so it's a little harder to tell when to line up the cut, for sure.

Product was good but I have a 50 plasma torch and the consumables sent in here are much smaller and thinner than the machine that came with it. They appeared to fit in a handgun, but being much smaller caliber they tended to have a much higher burnout rate. I asked to return them and get a refund as they were not a direct replacement and they had no issues with this request. 3 stars for the product, 5 stars for the service. That's how I got the 4 star rating.

I give 4 stars because it came quickly and I get my money back. I am a marine engineer/welder, not a plasma cutter. So full disclosure, I don't even know what flashlight I have. All I know is that it's hard to buy 10 packs of replacement electrodes because I can waste 3-5 on a big job. So I ordered this one, I read "cut50", my car says "Cut50" right on the front. I think I need to do some research on cutting machines. I have to say that this fault is mine.
