Makes track and height adjustment easier

Adjusting the brakes when I go from aluminum training wheels to a Zipp 303 is a long garage chore. Decided and bought. Using this pad adjuster I pulled up and adjusted the height in less than 5 minutes. I wish I had bought this sooner. I use a rubber band to lightly press the brakes against the rims to help install the tuner. You can use a third hand tool, but I chose a rubber band and it worked fine.

Align V-Brakes easily!

V-brakes or linear traction brakes are very annoying when leveling due to the many degrees of freedom and the tendency of the pads to twist when tightened. And then it's easy (for me) to forget which direction you should be converging. This will eliminate it. Simply align the tab with the top of the rim, rotate into position, press down on the pad and tighten the mounting bolt. Did! Brakes no longer squeak! Works well when used properly

As a bike mechanic I CAN make manual adjustments but it makes the job easier. Works as written if you use it correctly. I have a suggestion: if you are using this on a bike with tires, deflate just enough to allow the top edge of the tool to rest on the rim as desired. I'll bet more than half of those complaining put it on the rim wrong. The rest, complaining that it doesn't work, are just trying to adjust to get rid of the squeak. They either don't try or don't realize that there can be more…
