Suitable for R brake calipers

I upgraded my braking system to an R 4 guided piston caliper kit, I had a hard time getting the pads, LBS didn't have them until I found these pads and they are amazingly better than the stock pads! Super fast delivery

Pros
  • Bicycle brakes and parts
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Really the best sports pads

So much better than stock. I notice an improvement on long descents. The original pads on my SRAM Guide R brakes get hot and burn out. It's not like this. Saved me from switching to the Code line of brakes as I figured I needed better brakes. I really just needed the best pads.

Pros
  • Brake parts
Cons
  • Was damaged

Great feel and performance

I've never been happy with my Guide R rear brakes until now. They have always worked. but I felt detached from them. I have tried bleeding the factory seals, reinstalling etc. Glad I tried these seals before buying a more expensive setup. The Guide R Grabber now feels much better, rides stiffer and the brakes work great.

  • Brake Pads
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Nice thick cushions. but does not work with SRAM 220mm Rotor

I have tried this with my 220mm 2mm thick rotors and found that the pads are too thick to allow the rotor disc to move freely even when the Pistons are fully seated so I had to return it. This will probably work well with stock 1.8mm rotors and will probably last a long time, but it doesn't work with SRAM 220mm rotors.

Don't waste money.

I bought these pads hoping to increase the performance of the underpowered Avid G2 RSC brakes that came on my 2021 Trek Fuel EX 9.9. While they add more power to anemic brakes, they also make so much noise when turning that my favorite bike becomes a pathetic sight to ride. I installed the pads, took them off and cleaned the rotors and pads with acetone, reinstalled and the howling persists on both ends of the bike. I wish I had weaker brakes than that crap. Don't waste money.

Super fast shipping and great product response

I am surprised that I received this product much sooner than expected. I've had them for 2 days now and am very impressed with how sticky they are. compared to my SRAM pads. I give it 5 stars for my buying experience and first impression. I have yet to ride my trail bike and am awaiting the opportunity to give my full review of this product. I love how grippy they are, but I know they are semi-metal and their long-term effect on my discs/rotors is what I'm curious about right now. I will update

The best pads for shame!

By far the best brake pads I have ever used on Sram master brakes! I've been riding full suspension mountain bikes for over 12 years. And I always use original Sram brake pads for my RSC systems. They are ok but a bit noisy and fast. These tines just have a different braking force! So precise and powerful! . But still the feel is soft and so quiet they feel so much better and give more confidence when riding aggressively on trails and enduro. If you are looking for quiet, durable and preciseโ€ฆ
