Jagwire Universal Hydraulic 3000Mm Stealth Review

Pretty simple. It matched my new Shimano XT brake kit perfectly. I also used the Jagwire hydraulic brake press that they recommended. It's expensive, all said and done, but I'm happy with the whole Jagwire set. I mainly ride cross country and easier trails. Deducted 1 star because it turned out to be quite expensive.

I couldn't get Shimano hoses so I bought a Jagwire product. They have a good reputation so I thought "why not?" I had to cut the cord and use their thorns and olives. They fit better and are easier to mount than Tektro or Shimano. There were no leaks, no special tools were needed. I am a bicycle mechanic, so I have a lot of experience with hydraulic brakes. Jagwire has developed a very good system.

These tubes look great on my new bike. They are very similar to the Shimano lines that came with the stock brakes, except they feel less stiff. I used them with an adapter kit for old XT brakes with banjo style fittings and they fit perfectly. As long as you know what you are doing this wiring harness will work great. Easy installation with the right Hyflow adapter kit for your brakes. I used Park Tool's standard cable cutter, but it left a bit of thread after cutting. Just have scissors handy to scrape the thread and you won't have any trouble.
