There is quality on the build of these knives and the look of the set is gorgeous. So glad we bought them. They come extremely sharp which is a bonus. Remember care and maintenance is everything to keep the knives in great shape.

My husband loves this knife, it makes him feel like Chen Kenichi. He did cut himself with it during one of his first uses. May not be ideal for precise cuts on harder fruits and vegetables.

Beautiful knife, wicked sharp, excellent craftsmanship. My only quibble is that it is too big. More a mini chef knife than a longer paring knife. I am still thinking of getting a block set.

I'm rather underwhelmed by this knife set. For the price, I expected better. When I bought these, I got another set for a vacation rental for $40 and am quite honestly happier with the cheaper set. The bread knife must not be sharp because it seems to squish/tear bread. The kitchen shears do not work in the slightest. I am happy with the chef's knife and the santoku knife, so it's at best a mixed bag of knives.

Received the cleaver as described. Comfortably sits in my hand. Cleaver was sharp but not enough for my needs. Sharpened it a little and is now what it should be. No negative comments at all for the knife. its a great knife for chopping .

Knife on ebay described as a flexible fillet knife. It is not flexible. Although well made and hansom for the price, I would not recommend it for the real fisherman. Another disturbing fact is that the image on the ebay site shows a smooth transition between the blade and bolster, not so, it was photoshopped to remove a very abrupt edge where the blade meets the bolster. Bottom line, the knife is worth the price is would make a good standard boning knife.

The knife is sharp, no doubt. I like the shape of the blade too, just the style I was looking for. But the handle isn’t finished to my satisfaction. The tang protrudes just a bit from the handle scales. The product clearly doesn’t have the fit and finish I expected.

This thing is no joke! I had a slab of frozen fish and only needed a portion of it. The wallop cut through it like butter. Technique is everything but the blade made the task quite simple. Awesome quality throughout. The cutting edge on this thing is scary. Handle with great care and respect! The price was even better. I totally vote thumbs up on this one.
