The assembly instructions for the cushion could be clearer, but otherwise looks good. I've just embroidered something and I'm loving it so far. This is my first embroidery experience and it's beautiful and not too difficult.

Beautiful BUT lacks basic thread colors. I'm very disappointed as I'm almost done with the color part. I have to go to a craft store to find similar colors to fill leaves, medium and dark green, and berries, light cornflower blue. I have an overabundance of oranges and reds.

I think if I can ever start with this it will be very beautiful. The yarn comes in a mix and it took me 2 hours to sort and knot it, then I read in the instructions that the yarn needs to be washed (all separately), washed and dried before use as the colors bleed out when nothing is ever thrown at them. Needless to say, this project is now on hold for later if I have the patience.

I bought another Janlynn set a few years ago and was very happy to see that they still make it as the quality is excellent. This one came quickly and in a set, except the sorting card only had 16 holes and the set contained 28 colors of thread. No problem, I just made another map. The fabric is unbleached cream colored coarse cotton that serves as an excellent background for satin threads. I like more polished needles than supplied, but that's personal taste.
