Difficult to clean. Gets filled with dirt/deposits that cannot be cleaned and prevents the glass from being less visible in the tank. We stopped using it after 3 weeks.

I have ordered several products from this company and am very happy with the quality. Yes it is glass and if not done right it will break because it is glass but you will need to soak the hose in hot water before fitting the hose onto the pipes.

Ideal for ground level CO2 and looks good too. But that's right, the surface disturbance is significantly dampened compared to other constructions. But it's a great value and just what I need for my aquarium.

I was looking for a filter flow diverter that would not disturb the surface but still create water movement throughout the tank. It sinks quite deep into the aquarium while mainly sticking out horizontally, so it does a pretty good job of helping with proper water movement. It's also important that its presence in the tank is relatively unobtrusive, as it's made of transparent (and decent-quality) glass.

Neatly thick glass. The design ruined it for me, the way it's shaped makes it terrible for water noise. If you don't want to hear splashes, don't get this design. The tube must be fully submerged in water to avoid making noise, but due to the drop and narrow exit you won't get any surface waves. The exit should be almost entirely out of the water to make the sound of the water somewhat bearable if you want surface roughness. I came to a different conclusion after the purchase.
