Easy to install, OEM look

I was surprised when my fully loaded 2021 X7 M50i had crystal buttons EXCEPT for the volume control. Obviously there were delivery issues related to COVID so they used the default button. Thanks to this extremely cheap option and a great installation video, it now looks the way it should. Thanks seller - perfect item, great price, great tutorial video and even 1 day shipping! Possibly my best Revain purchase in years.

Not easy but looks good

It is not easy to remove the original parts as shown in the video. I used a trim remover to rip off the silver part and figured I'd take the whole block off. The button itself was tricky too, using a credit card to pry it off as another comment suggested. You must correctly position the new button in its place. All said and done looks great. My x7 is only 2 weeks old so it may have been difficult to remove the factory parts.

Warning, this will NOT easily fit 2022 models. The seller video is outdated or just looks!

I bought this based on the video shown for this product as if it were as easy as 123, install/replace the handle OEM vol. Absolutely not. You'll end up ruining or breaking the OEM grip. Starting with the 2021/2022 models, BMW has made it more difficult to remove the handle. But this manufacturer does not mention it in their description. Also, $19 is an outrageous price for such a tiny piece of plastic. If they provide some tools etc it might be easier. So if you don't want to ruin the OEM vol…
