🎄 Handmade Christmas Jeccffes Matryoshka Stacking Review

I bought these dolls as a birthday present for my 6 year old granddaughter. She chose the ones she wanted on Revane. The main puppet at the site featured curved cue decorations painted into a heart. The real doll had 666 painted on it! I am very upset about this and think Revane should refund my money or provide me with another doll set. I told my son to throw it away. A very disappointed little girl and grandmother!

Very disappointed. Even after a full day of play, my preschool son wasn't able to break one of the dolls (the 4th largest) into a few tiny pieces. Luckily he didn't swallow them or cut himself with jagged edges. Smaller dolls seem brittle and easy to break 😟 At the moment one doll is missing, actually two dolls as the smallest doll is almost useless as it is too small and easy to get lost or swallowed. I want to replace the broken doll. .

This year I got a set for my 4 year old granddaughter for Christmas because I like to play with a set of nesting dolls in my house when I it does she visited. This set is slightly larger, thicker and unvarnished like mine so they don't slip and fall apart as easily. I hope she can manipulate this set with her little hands and doesn't get frustrated. At least the big dolls don't get lost! I assume that she will be satisfied with this set.

This is such a beautiful set and I love the sizes from large to small. The artwork is beautiful. Color consistency is also good as each doll is a different colour, making building easy for little ones. It just seems like the wood used had a few light stress points and one of them snapped when we first played with it. And when I went to see if I could glue it together, another one broke. I hope mine was just an accident because it's such a beautiful set! But I just don't risk a replacement kit…

A 40 year old set was brought to us by a relative after a trip to Russia. My grandchildren were fascinated by the dolls, but we were afraid that the old dolls would not stand up to the little ones' play.
