First burn after four starts. Thinking I did something wrong I ordered another one and it burned out after two runs so I ordered one from another supplier it worked fine and was hoping for a refund for the first two.

John Deere GT225 working again. The symptoms were as follows: the engine started but there was no spark + the key position for both start and engine on both engines resulted in engine starting. Easy installation... 3 mounting screws, two connectors, power and switch nut. Total installation and testing time, including battery reinstallation, was less than half an hour.

This one fits almost exactly like the old one I took off my old LX277. The lawnmower now starts and runs great. With the old circuit board, the starter stayed on and sounded awful. My only criticism is the packaging. The ignition switch pressed against the circuit board and twisted two pins. I bent them easily enough. A connector cap or styrofoam around the circuit board will help.
