I bought this for my mother who is 95 and hard of hearing. I'm disappointed because the volume isn't really adjustable, it has treble and bass and no additional audio boosts. It doesn't fare much better than their old phone in that department. In general the rest of the phone is fine, comfortably sized buttons and simple controls. I'm tempted to return it but she says it's good enough. 1 star deducted for lack of volume control. if i accidentally missed something in the manual, it would be nice

Time is in 24-hour military time and cannot be set to a 12-hour cycle. My mother in law was confused that 5pm is 5pm. The temperature is displayed in Celsius and cannot be switched to Fahrenheit.
