A lot of people say that pacers don't work I bought this to see for myself and I tell them people are wrong, the spacer works very well, the throttle response is much better and I get better fuel economy i recommend buy and install it yourself as it is very easy to install.

I've read a lot about throttle body spacers and I still disagree with the claims made. I'm sure they behave differently on other engines. On my 4.2 liter I6 I noticed a difference in low end acceleration, it was responsive. I couldn't tell any difference in mileage.

The lag it caused is gone. You can see right away that it accelerates much more smoothly and faster on the track. I didn't know what to expect. when I ordered it but I'm glad I did. Make sure you go to the manufacturer's website to make sure it fits. Revain says it doesn't fit in my truck but I have a '09 Chevy 1500 WT v6 that really needed it lol.

Would give 5 stars but it had no instructions, just a link to download but I had to download Adobe first, then find out my part number, download PDF and done I went through up to six steps , just less than a paragraph, no pictures, very few details. I understand that this is the easy part of the installation but how difficult it would be to come up with slightly better instructions

I have a 2008 h³ 3.7L Hummer with manual transmission. After installing the spacer, I was concerned about an erratic idle that would stall when the clutch engaged. RPMs would sometimes climb to 3k and flatten out at one point. I've noticed that it settles down a bit as it nears 100 miles travel time. In terms of power or throttle response, I notice better performance, but not by much. Update: I removed the damn thing.

so i thought about getting this and after reading the reviews of others and realizing that it was mostly positive i took a chance and during i 3 days drove it I definitely feel a difference in acceleration I just filled up so I can't see how much difference there will be in miles per gallon. Something that might help those with bigger wheels and tires on a pickup truck: the overrun mechanism doesn't engage as often on a slight incline as it did before tightening.

I took a chance considering everyone says they are bad and a waste of money but for me. That's great! I mean my 04" GMC Envoy has a 4.2L k&n intake manifold and when you lower it you usually feel the intake kick at about 5 krpm like you feel extra power. The amazing thing is that with the shim, you no longer press at 5,000 rpm, but at 1,000 rpm! Do you mean that seriously? It's amazing that this works.
