Rugged design for an affordable body

The product is very easy to assemble. The hardest part was removing the paper protecting the acrylic. My only suggestion is to make an extra hole at the top in case you want to route the cable for the 40mm fan to the header on the board (which you now need to route through one of the side holes).

Pros
  • Neat opening design: cutouts for main ports and TF card
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Be careful with your Jetson Nano 2GB Part Number/Version

Don't be fooled by the casing, these are two separate Jetson Nano 2GB part numbers. One has a Wi-Fi card slot, the other comes with a USB Wi-Fi dongle and doesn't even have an Intel wireless card slot with antennas.

Pros
  • Good looking, dustproof
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great little case for Jetson Nano 2GB device

Removing the paper covers was tricky but once I did it was fine. I recommend adding a fan to keep the heat away from the 100 Cuda cores. I chose the Noctua NF-A 4x20 PWM and it cools the case really well.

Pros
  • Side view: easy access to GPIO and camera port
Cons
  • I'll write later

Take care with your Jetson Nano 2GB SKU/Version

Don't be fooled by the case, these are two separate Jetson Nano 2GB SKUs. One has a Wi-Fi card slot, the other comes with a USB Wi-Fi dongle and doesn't even have an Intel wireless card slot with antennas.

Pros
  • Case fan
Cons
  • Negative present

The transparent case is cheap, and if durable, then effective

This is a beautiful case that fits my Jetson Nano 2g perfectly. Putting it together can be frustrating as you will need all the cables you may need in the foreseeable future to be pre-wired. So if you want to use the camera interface in the future, connect a cable to it before hitting in this case. even without a module! All front cutouts are for Jetson 2GB only, not for Original Nano. The micro SD card is accessible and internal airflow is directed cleanly to the sides if you add a fan.

Pros
  • Fans and cooling
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
