Ideal for do-it-yourselfers.

BLUF: a great tool for the DIY enthusiast. I agree with other reviewers, keep the tools and ditch the clamps. Pros: Cost Ease of use Cons: Terrible clips included The quality of the pipe cutter is non-existent and won't last long with professional use, but still great for homeowners doing small jobs.

Much cheaper than local shops and works great. I took off a star because the kit included the clamps.

Much cheaper than local stores and works great Took a star off because of the The supplied terminals are junk, just buy good ones locally But still a great price I've done probably 50 crimps of PEX with this tool and not a single leak!

Cannot calibrate tool

I bought a tool and it came with a cutter. the cutter bends and the cut is not square. Out of the 10 crimps I made, 6 ran out and I had to go to the store to borrow the crimps and rings. The crimping tool doesn't look like the crimping tool I saw on youtube. The tool looks like it's not crimping enough and I can't adjust the tool. I wish I had a crimping tool instead of a crimping tool.

Great deal for small projects

Plumbing in a small basement bathroom. I decided to purchase this PEX installation tool to save money compared to an option at a major hardware store. Item was delivered quickly and worked well. I'm sure it's not as strong as the more expensive brands but it worked GREAT and crimped a lot of 1/2" and 3/4" terminals to PEX fittings. The cutter will cut through 1/2' and #/4" TEX tubing like BUTTER, not even kidding. It's well worth the money for a DIY project.
