Looks good, fits well, very soft

so the installation is a pain because it is straight, if it was the same shape as the factory intake pipe it would be easy but now it fits, when it's installed it's a very soft material, i'm afraid under vacuum it can destroy the air intake, i'll upgrade it if it ever happens, but generally i'm a last resort, it's ok, but me, I'll probably buy more $$$ just to make my life easier. So if you have money better buy, if you don't have enough money like me then it will work.

Pros
  • hoses and clamps
Cons
  • sad packaging

He does what he says, no less and no more.

I quickly fixed a 2003 wrx with an STI hybrid replacement. The only problem I had was that the metal ring is slightly larger than the connection hose for the filter. A quick solution is to cut off the factory hose and ring and insert it into the connection hose for the filter. Then slide the turbo inlet hose onto the connecting hose, done. You can also cut 1/4" from the crank vent hose under the manifold for easy installation of the purge solenoid.

Pros
  • Engine Parts
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

But it seems to be working fine. Equipment not 100%

Installed in 2004 Forester XT. There was a PITA to install without removing the intake manifold. But it seems to be working fine. The package is not 100%. The nipple closest to the turbine is next to the intake manifold. Hope it doesn't fade with time. The large metal ring for the standard airbox does not fit at all. I took the flex duct that runs between the airbox and the turbine inlet, sanded the lip on the inlet side and installed the inlet AROUND the flex duct without the metal ring…

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • May cause injury
