Point broke after a few minutes

I used this to drill through a stuck hardened roll pin. I oiled the hole and it worked very well initially, much better than the first try with the cobalt bit However the tip broke off after a few minutes of drilling I am disappointed with the performance and expected more for the price.

Pros
  • Overall length 2 3/4"
Cons
  • Available in white only

Excellent! I broke it right away! Drop it! I bought a new Skil drill driver with a 1/2" chuck for my next attempt at drilling this extension! Heavy drilling! You may have to take it to the store for an electron beam drill! If it's metal, it will cut through it!

Pros
  • Used by machinists and hobbyists for general drilling in most materials.
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Great Quality!: Jobber Drill Bit

I had a big problem when a hardened extractor broke a wedged bolt in an aluminum head. This drill saved the day. Needed a bit when I worked with carbide tools and this tip was very strong allowing me to quickly remove a broken extractor. The carbide seemed stronger than some of the high quality carbides I have worked with in the past.have on hand!

Pros
  • Flute Length 1 5/8"
Cons
  • Not sure
