Disappointing heavy-duty gimbal.

As an electronics enthusiast, I wanted a sturdy gimbal for my camera, but this product failed to meet my expectations. As a result of using this product, I found that it was heavy and cumbersome to use, making it difficult to handle and adjust. The only positive thing was that it did support my heavy camera, but with such poor functionality, it's simply not worth it. I don't recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use heavy-duty gimbal.

Pros
  • Can hold heavy camera equipment with ease.
Cons
  • Requires a significant investment in cost.

Smooth as silk, best in tripods and monopods

Very well made. I evaluate this with RRS and actually have a TVC 33 with a BH55 ball head. I didn't want to spend more than $700 on an RRS gimbal, so I settled for that. Very smooth motion, I use this setup with my Tamron 150-600 G2 and D810 for wildlife photography.

Pros
  • Lens with rotating tripod collar
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

You won't find a better stabilizer anywhere

After much searching I ordered this stabilizer and it arrived in less than a week. It mounts easily to my level with the screws provided. I mounted it with my camera and a 300mm lens, marked the Swiss-style Arca Kiwi plate at the balance point, and centered the lens mount on the horizontal axis. All adjustments were easy and very positive. Moving the lens and camera is almost effortless, and the camera will bounce up and down several times if the friction brake is not lightly applied. Rocking…

Pros
  • Fits lenses and cameras up to 15lbs
Cons
  • I'll write back
