the quality leaves a lot to be desired. In use today and not impressed. I got the impression it was metal. $70 is a lot for a plastic block.

So far so good. Fantastic quick release and this is a very solid stand. It is very easy to wrap around anything and feels sturdy when wrapped around anything.

We took these on a trip to Tahiti and they were definitely used almost every day! It was even better than a tripod as you could literally attach it to any branch or object and hold it really well! I even believed him capable of hanging from the boat's railing over the water! I support it 100%!

Well, that's an update, Joby swapped once, and the second one is now cracked in the same place. I've used it maybe a dozen times, no extreme bends. I only got it 2 months ago, have used it about half a dozen times, and one of the cups on the top has already cracked and the stem keeps falling out. It has never been bent around anything, I have used it to support the DSL as a tripod or to hold it.

I've had it for three months and hardly used it. Once I pulled it out, put the phone on it, bent one of the legs and it cracked immediately. It's just cheap plastic. I contacted and they said it was out of warranty and that it was sold by an unauthorized third party even though the seller list says JOBY. They clearly don't stand for their own products. Spend your $65 elsewhere. Either way, Manfrotto has some of the best blogging tools out there.

Sturdy, flexible and able to carry my Canon 80D with no problems. Why 3 stars? A mini-capsule like this shouldn't cost $85! Obviously I was stupid enough to buy it, but I'd happily wait for the price to drop or find something else. Rating: For the money I would say. Stay away. It's not worth it. I use it sparingly.
