Full compliance with the manufacturer's assurances, high quality.

GorillaPod - as usual, fully justifies itself. The Chinese have been trying to copy the design for a long time, it turns out cheaper - but they always lose in quality - either the wire breaks after some time, or it is initially fixed poorly. Of some small minuses - heavy smartphones (13 PRO Max, etc. - those that are close to 250 g) are not fixed so well in any unnatural positions. In addition, I would also like a mount for GoPro in the kit for this money. The rest is GorillaPod in the best…

Pros
  • 1. Reliable design 2. Compact
Cons
  • There is a restriction on the weight of smartphones used - it is already difficult to fix in some tricky positions

HD camcorder hold!

I have an HD camcorder with a heavy back (the tripod screw is on the front of the camera and the "heavy" battery is on the back), so a regular hard mini tripod With a short, the legs could not easily support the weight of the camera. (Camcorder 2.5"H x 2.5"W x 5.5"D) Other reviews made me a little skeptical, but this little adjustable tripod is awesome! Can protrude beyond the back of the camera so it's easy to use holds the weight very well and supports all camera angles It also has good…

Has more uses than I expected! (but...problems)

I love photography and thought it would be nice to have one that I could use with both my new iPhone and my digital camera. I usually use a full sized tripod, but for random or unexpected events it's much easier to keep it close by and handy. But I suddenly found another great use for it with the iPhone. I love reading ezines and the news over breakfast and with the tripod it holds my phone at any angle I need for optimal viewing and can be made stable at any angle. I actually haven't had a…

Suitable for some tasks but not all

I've wanted to get one of these for years because they look really versatile. But it turned out that this is not all. A tripod is very useful in a situation where you have a strange object to grasp. But in my experience, that only happens a small fraction of the time. On a flat surface such as a tabletop, it will not hold even a lightweight digital camera in "portrait" mode because (1) it will tip over and (2) the gimbal will not reach the required final position. Another problem is the…

The best small universal tripod!

Joby Gorrillapod is the best small tripod for point and shoot cameras. I use it all the time with my Canon SD4000 camera and even occasionally with my Sony Nex-7 mirrorless camera. You will not be disappointed with this purchase! Features - Small and lightweight: Weighs only 1.6 ounces, small enough to fit almost anywhere - Grips tight: I use it regularly on railings, uneven surfaces, and even the edges of tables and chairs - Durable: I've been using it in dusty and wet conditions for months…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Doesn't hold much, deforms very easily

I use it on Flip DVR. It's a lightweight recorder, but feels like it's overpowering the gorillapod. The main problem is that three hands cannot press the surface firmly. This is a big problem when mounting on a smaller, fairly smooth surface. You can tighten them initially, but there is no "compressive force" so they slowly yield to gravity. Examples: 1. Chair back - I glued the legs to a rectangular dining chair. The impact with the chair slightly dislodged his legs, causing him to lean back…

Gorillapod is a very handy little device

I am using a Gorillapod with a Panasonic DMC-ZS3 which weighs about 8 ounces. The pod is great for the occasional shot when I need more stability than I can manually provide. I use it for long exposures at night and panorama on camera. It's not as easy to wrap this item around railings, fences, branches, etc. as I thought, mainly because I didn't. understand how short the legs are but once in place it stays in place. It's better for night shots than panoramas, as it's not very easy to keep the…

Must have Compact Camera Tripod

Let's face it, the idea of having a full size compact camera tripod defeats the whole purpose of a compact camera. There are smaller regular tripods but the problem with them is that you need a flat surface to play on the tripod. If you are away from home, you may not have many choices of such finishes to customize. As such, this tripod comes in very handy as it has flexible legs that can be wrapped around things. So you can safely mount the camera on things that would normally be very unstable

Buy this tripod, it's amazing!

I use this tripod with my Panasonic Lumix TZ5 and I expect it will work with all Lumix lines as they have the same standard tripod mount. This device single-handedly changed the way I take photos! I recently went on vacation with my girlfriend and we were able to take such great shots of the two of us in different environments because we could film ourselves with the self-timer - all without constantly disturbing other people. take a picture of us! The picture is always missing in the frame…
