I was so glad I got it because I heard good things about this iron. When I opened my Amazon package I was SO disappointed to find that the box looked like it had been ripped apart, like it was living on the floor of someone's closet and taped together! I tried to ignore it and opened the box to find it had already been used. black marks on the sides of the panels and a bent power connector. So disappointed with this purchase. Not the quality you expect from Revain. Back immediately.

Other reviewers are right about the poorly placed keys. I like this straightener because it straightens the hair well if you can keep the temperature constant. The buttons are on a thin strip at the top, so it takes time to learn how to use this iron without constantly changing the temperature or even turning it off altogether. This is the second time I have bought a hair straightener. My last one lasted five years - which is really good for the price. I have thick long hair and it does the job every time.
